The picture shows a view of this 1945 World War II Cigarette Ashtray With Mounted 20mm Shot. The mounted steel round is dark in the picture. This ashtray is believed to have been made at the end of the war. The 20mm bullet is made of steel and the ashtray is made of aluminum. The bullet as made on this ashtray does not have a shell. There is no manufacturer's mark. It has raised lettering that reads as follows:

WORLD WAR II
1945
20mm SHOT

The piece measures about 4-3/4'' wide x 3-5/8'' tall. It is in good condition with indents in the center as pictured.
