The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old 635th AMSS U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command Medal Coin. The medal is not dated but it is from before 2001. One side has an emblem or logo and the other side has a scene with emblems in the sky over a mountain. The two sides are marked as follows:

BEST IN THE WEST
LEADING THE REST
AIR MOBILITY COMMAND
635th AMSS
KOKUA IMUA LANAKILA

The medal coin measures about 1-5/8'' wide. There is a layer of resin over each side and it is in mint condition as pictured. It also comes with its original clear plastic holder (not pictured). Below here, for reference, is some additional information:

735th Air Mobility Squadron [735th AMS]

The 735th Air Mobility Squadron is a unit of the 715th Air mobility Operations Group, based at Hickam AFB, HI.. Prior to being activated as the 735th AMS, the squadron was designated as the 635th Air Mobility Support Squadron [AMSS]. The change in designation became effective on March 15, 2001, when the 635th AMSS was redesignated as the 735th AMS. The change was enacted to better reflect the role of the unit as more operational than support oriented. The squadron is part of AMC's en route system to provide fixed and deployed maintenance, aerial port and command and control support to deployed AMC forces. The squadron's mission is to provide critical en route services to deployed forces worldwide.
