These two drink glasses are identical and the two different sides are shown. The two cute naked characters had their own syndicated comic strip each day in many newspapers all over the United States in the 1970s. These are ©1975 by The Los Angeles Times newspaper. The comic captions always began with ''LOVE IS...''. On each glass there are two of the comic strips. These are marked on the two sides as follows: LOVE IS... TELLING HIM HIS PAINT JOB IS MARVELOUS WHEN IT ISN'T. LOVE IS... HOLDING THE LADDER WHEN HE PAINTS THE CEILING. The colorful glasses each measure about 6'' tall. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
