The picture shows the (2) 1930s Cracker Jack & Checkers Popcorn Confection Rude Valentine Premiums in this lot. These were made by Sam Gold of Gold Premiums. Each of these has a colorful graphic image and is marked at the bottom right.

Some of these were made unmarked, some just say Cracker Jack and some say just Checkers. These happen to be marked with both products. These are from a series of (25) Valentines that were given out when a purchase was made. As far as I know they weren’t used as a prize in the box. Included are the following:

GOLF BUG
SODA SQUIRT

These measure 6" x 8-3/4". They appear to be in excellent condition. The first one has a 1/2" tear at the top and the second has two fold creases. There is some light wrinkles and age discoloration on these, but both of these things are normal because of the old lightweight newspaper print paper they are made on.
