Colorful 1945 Mechanical Comic Duck Valentine Greeting Card
Mechanical   Duck   Bird   Poultry   Animal   Cartoon   Comic   Character   Farm   Valentine   Holiday   Card   Novelty   Nostalgic   Paper   Ephemera
The pictures show a front and back view of this Colorful 1945 Mechanical Comic Duck Valentine Greeting Card. The card was dated in pencil on the back. When you move the tail the duck's beak moves. The duck is wearing clothes and a hat. It is marked on the two sides as follows:

DON'T ''DUCK'' THE ISSUE!
BE MY VALENTINE

FEB. 14, 1945
(signed) AUNTIE KAULA

CARRINGTON CO.
CHICAGO, ILL.

The card measures about 6-3/8'' x 5-3/4''. It appears to be in good condition with a small tear on the collar and a crease on the tail from use as pictured. This card was once in a scrap book, so on the back is extra paper and paste marks.
