The pictures below show larger views of all (10) Different Old Roy Rogers Dale Evans & Trigger Cowboy Hero Character Items in this lot. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items from different sources.

The first item included here is an old children’s Roy Rogers & Trigger western shirt. The shirt has a “Roy Rogers Frontier Shirts by Created by Rob Roy” tag. There are embroidered horse shoes on the collar, “Roy Rogers” and “Trigger” on the chest, as well as six cactus plants. There is a slot pocket on the left side, white collar with braided trim, and three button white cuffs. It is a child’s size 6. Laying flat it measures about 14'' wide x 20'' tall. The shirt was obviously well loved by most likely a young boy. It has wear and tear as well as spotting, loss of (6) buttons, and color, as well as some sewn areas.

Next there is a ©1945 “ROY ROGERS AND THE GOPHER CREEK GUNMAN” hard back book. It was written by Don Middleton and Illustrated by Erwin L. Hess. The (254) page book was published by The Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin. There is no dust jacket cover.

Next is another book, ©MCMLII (1952) “ROY ROGERS AND THE SURE ‘NOUGH COWPOKE” hard back book. It was written by Elizabeth Beecher and Illustrated by Randy Steffen. The (32) page Tell-A-Tale book was published by The Whitman Publishing Company of Racine, Wisconsin.

There are (3) old 78rpm Roy Rogers and Dale Evans children’s Golden Records. Two of these have their original paper sleeves, but one of the colorful sleeves is poor condition. The first record has Roy on one side and Dale on the other side of the sleeve and the record label. Roy’s side has him singing “THE LORD’S PRAYER”, and the other side has Dale singing “AVE MARIA”. The second record is ©1953 and it has an amusement park or carnival carousel on one side and many more Golden Records, Books, Movies, and Characters (including Disney) from Simon & Schuster at the Rockefeller Center in New York. The record pictures a hiker on one side and a shoe maker on the other. Roy Rogers and Dale Evans sing “THE LITTLE SHOEMAKER” with the Mitchell Miller and Orchestra, and “THE HAPPY WANDERER” with The Sandpipers Mitchell Miller and Orchestra. The third Golden Record does not have a sleeve. It pictures Roy on one side and Dale on the other, and they sing “THE LORD IS COUNTING ON YOU, and “OPEN UP YOUR HEART” (AND LET THE SUN SHINE IN). The records are used but they are playable.

Next in this lot is a small pin (with back section included). It has a colorful image of young Roy Rogers and Dale Evans in western outfits. It is a metal pin with a clear covering over the image. It is marked on the front and the back as follows:

HAPPY TRAILS
ROY ROGERS & DALE EVANS
MADE IN NEW ZEALAND

There is a very tiny old film photo included of Roy Rogers, and his horse Trigger. This may have been a View Master picture at one time.

The final (2) items included here are both advertising items from a Roy Rogers Restaurant. They are believed to be from 1980 or 1981. The first one is an unused advertising souvenir paper plate, with rodeo images of Cowboys, horses, and steer or bulls. A few have titles such as “RANCH HANDS AT WORK” and “THE STAMPEDE”. It is also marked “ROY ROGERS ® FAMILY RESTAURANTS. The second item is a two sided children’s coupon card that pictures Roy Rogers. It was a re-useable card for any child 12 or under to get a brownie or an ice cream sundae. The offer was good until December 1st, 1981.

All ten of these items for one price! To judge the sizes, the dark green book in the center measures about 5-5/16'' x 8'' x 1-5/16''. These items appear to range anywhere from poor to mint condition as pictured and described above. Please see the description above for some conditions.
