The pictures show four views of this Old Wind Up Mechanical Toy Knitting Bear. The toy bear is not dated but it is old. It is marked ''Made In Japan'', but the maker is unknown. The bear is covered in fake fur. It has tin eye glasses, metal knitting needles, pink and blue ribbons, a yellow lap cloth and orange yarn. The base has colorful home interior images of furniture all around it. There is a metal key on the side to wind up. To judge the size the knitting bear toy measures about 6'' tall. It works well with a back and forth motion of the arms and knitting needles. The toy appears to be in excellent condition. The hands are made of some kind of composition material with a few small cracks as pictured. The hands resemble human hands but the finger tips are gone. We do not know if this was purposely made like this or not to more resemble a bears paws.
