They may have been a prize or a promotional item from a gas station. These were mailed from Brooklyn, New York to a Wilmington, Massachusetts address. The ''TRAVELERS'' binoculars can be carried in a pocket and they pop open with the push of a button. The inner box is marked as follows: TRAVELERS
