The picture shows a front and back view of this 1907 Cracker Jack Bears Advertising Premium / Prize Post Card. This is card #15 of a set of (16) different Post Cards that were used. These cards were one of the earliest prizes that were used in a box of Cracker Jack.

There are two versions of these. One version has instructions on the back to order a complete mail away premium set of (16) cards back then. The other version, the ones mailed for do not have the instructions. They were put out by the Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein, the makers of Cracker Jack.

Each of the cards in the set has a different scene with the Cracker Jack Bears and their fantastic travels. They had traveled to different locations by means of an airship shaped like a large box of Cracker Jack. On this card the Bears came down out of their airship and are in a tree in Yellowstone National Park. Theodore Roosevelt is hunting there and the Cracker Jack Bears plead with him to put down his gun.

The card has a poem and is ©1907 by Artist B. E. Moreland. Some of these postcards were reproduced in miniature for the product's 100th anniversary in 1993. The postcard measures about 3" x 5-3/8".

We are not a grading company and this card has not been graded. Please judge by the clear image of the card as to the condition.
