His name ''Charles A. Bamford'' and number is written inside three of the five booklets. These are pocket size books or booklets. The included booklets, in the order pictured, are as follows: ©1943 - ''THINK ON THESE THINGS'' - Y.M.C.A., U.S.O. (86 pages) ©1943 - ''GREETINGS SERVICE MAN!'' - Y.M.C.A., SALVATION ARMY, U.S.O. (16 pages) 1940s - ''NEW BATTLEGROUNDS'' - SALVATION ARMY, U.S.O. (66 pages) 1940s - ''ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS!'' - SALVATION ARMY, U.S.O. (34 pages) ©1941 - ''THE SERVICE BOOK OF SCRIPTURE PRAYER AND HYMNS'' - Y.M.C.A., U.S.O. (82 pages) To judge the sizes the three larger booklets in the center measure about 3-1/4'' x 5''.
