The pictures show views of all of the parts included for this Colorful 1896 Boston Sunday Globe Forbes Theatre War Supplement. The first picture shows the large colorful theatre background section. The last picture shows the smaller parts that attach to the theatre section. All of the other images show closer views of the theatre background section.

All of the parts included are printed in color on card stock paper. The left balcony has an image that is believed to be the Editor of the Boston Sunday Globe newspaper. Across his mid section it reads ''THE LARGEST CIRCULATION IN NEW ENGLAND''. In the right balcony is Uncle Sam with a star covered coat. He is holding opera glasses or binoculars. The theatre is heavily decorated with flags, banners, shields, columns, eagles, murals, The U.S. Capitol Building, and more.

Two images show a closer view of each side of the band in the orchestra section of the theatre. There are men playing the cello, violin, flute, trumpet or bugle horn, trombone, and a Conductor. There are closer images of the wording that is to the left and right of the band. One is a note and one is the directions for this Forbes Theatre supplement. It mentions that parts are added weekly over five weeks. This does not appear to have all of the parts.

The rest of the parts that are included are in the last picture. There are scenes of Colonists or Militia battling with what appears to be British Red Coats. These parts would get attached to the stage by use of tabs and slots. All of the parts in this lot were found with early paper dolls of the same 1800s time period. This would look great framed. To judge the sizes the theatre background measures 22'' x 7-1/2''. The parts included appear to be in near mint condition.
