The picture shows a view of all (8) World War II United States Navy Sailor Photograph & Paper Items in this lot. These items are dated from 1943 to 1947 and they all came from the same man, a James Bernard Kelly. Hopefully they will find their way back to him or family members. The items included here are as follows:

There is a 1945 dated colorized portrait photograph in a folder. It is signed ''Caffey's 1945''. It shows the Sailor in his dress blues or Cracker Jack uniform.

There is a black & white records photograph that pictures his 1946 Honorable Discharge certificate and another discharge paper.

There is a Giant ''Old Glory'' American flag postcard. It is postmarked November 4, 1943. It was sent from the U.S. Navy Destroyer ship U.S.S. Sampson DD-394. It has a long message and it was mailed to a Worcester, Massachusetts address. It has a 3c ''Win The War'' postage stamp, but it is also marked ''Free''.

Next is a 1947 telegram with the original envelope. It was sent to a Worcester, Massachusetts address. The envelope has a 3 cent Thomas Jefferson postage stamp.

There are (2) different Veterans Administration typed letters. They are both signed. One is from December 27, 1946 and the other is from February 19, 1947.

The last item in this lot is a 1944 typed letter from the Sailor on the back of a medical form. He explains that the form was used for x-rays and it explains that is what he does (Navy Corpsman ?) and worked in a ''Diographic Room''.

To judge the sizes the photograph in the folder measures 7-1/8'' x 10-1/2''. These items appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured.
