These masks were in store premiums / prizes from Cracker Jack and Checkers popcorn confections. These particular masks were from Cracker Jack and are marked on the front. There were a larger and a smaller set of masks. They looked the same, just a slightly different size. These two are of the larger version. There were store advertising signs that pictured a mask and stated: FREE

THERE ARE 5 DIFFERENT FALSE FACES TO CHOOSE FROM. The mask is colorfully printed on paper and die cut. There is a hole on each side for an elastic string. It will be mailed flat in a plastic holder. These masks each measure about 10'' x 11-7/8''. These masks appear to be in good condition with some wear and tear as pictured. The first one has a 3'' tear from the top and an edge wear spot at the top left. The second mask has 2-3/4'' tear at the top and various edge wear spots. At the lower right is a small tear and the piece is folded over, but not missing, in the picture. |
