The frame has glass, there is a backing, and it is wired for hanging. The image is of a pretty Victorian lady in a fancy dress sitting at a table reading a book. There is another opened book in the other chair. Also in the picture there are framed portrait paintings on the wall, a flowering plant in flower pot, a tea pot, a pitcher, tea cup, pillow, and some faces on wood molding.
