1943 World War II Airplane Advertising Premium Ink Pen Blotter
World War II   WWII   War   Military   Airplane   Aircraft   Aviation   Advertising   Premium   Ink Pen   Blotter   Historic   Homefront   Patriotic   Non Sports   Trading Card   Card   Paper   Ephemera
The picture shows a view of 1943 World War II Airplane Advertising Premium Ink Pen Blotter. This blotter has a colorful image and description of a ''BREWSTER F 2 A-1'' airplane. It looks like a trading card from the 1940s. The blotter was from the Schmidt Manufacturing Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Apparently the company had made products for the war effort including Loom Reeds, Leather Loom Strapping, Canvas Lug Straps, and Drivemaster Leather Belting. It also has ''a slogan for 1943'':

NEVER LET YOURSELF GET BLUE,
JUST THINK WHAT OUR YANKS'LL DO.

The blotter measures 9-1/8'' x 3-7/8''. It is in good condition as pictured. There is some soiling from handling, some light wear, and it was used on the back for two short (address ?) lines.
