Celluloid   Lady   Fan   Accessory
The picture shows a view of this Old Painted Celluloid Ladies Folding Hand Held Fan. This fan is not dated butt it is believed to be from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It is not marked either. There is a nice looking floral pattern that is painted on the fan in pink, blue, gree, and tan. The back side is blank. Counting the two covers there are (20) panels. Each panel, except the covers are pierced with four slots and the original white ribbon is woven through these. There is a loop at the base to connect to a ribbon, cord, or chain. Counting the loop the fan measures 5-5/8'' tall. Fully opened it measures 9-3/8'' wide. It is in excellent condition as pictured.
