| The pictures show different views of this Old Bulova Art Deco Fifth Avenue New York Watch Box With Certificate. Shown is the front, back, sides, inside, and bottom of the box. Also shown are the two sides of the certificate that was found with this box.The year that this box was made is unknown but it is old. It is believed to be from the 1930s. The box has a gold top section with the Bulova logo of a woman in front of a clock face. The reverse design is all under clear plastic that is painted gold from behind. The bottom section is ivory colored plastic. The outside of the box is marked as follows: (logo)

MADE IN U.S.A. The inside has a burgandy color velvet and satin lining. The inside still has the watch mount and string. The inside is marked in gold print as follows: BULOVA

NEW YORK The certificate included was found folded inside the box. It is a ''BULOVA WATCH GUARANTEE BOND''. It has the same beautiful Bulova logo as the box. The Jewler's name is not filled in but the case number is. If you can research Bulova case numbers it is #853308. The back has the care for the Bulova watch. The box measures 4-3/16'' x 3-1/8'' x 1-1/2''. The box appears to be in near mint condition, but upon close inspection there is cracking near the hinge area (see picture #2). It is not apart and does not effect the display of the box (opened or closed). The certificate is clean but has folds as pictured. |
