The picture shows all (5) Old Comic / Cartoon Character Celluloid Charms in this lot. These are not dated but are believed to be from the 1930's and 1940's. They are hand painted. I have been told that these were offered in many ways including on liquor bottles, beer bottles, in packages of bread, at carnivals, and sold in stores. Contrary to popular belief, these were not used as Cracker Jack prizes. Three of them are Walt Disney characters and two are Popeye characters. Included are the following:

Pluto
Mickey Mouse
(Long Billed) Donald Duck
Popeye
Wimpy

To judge the sizes the Donald Duck charm measures 1-5/16" tall. All of them are in mint as made condition.
