The pictures show a view of both sides of all (5) Different Kim Love Is... Comic Character Drink Glasses in this lot. The two cute naked characters had their own syndicated comic strip each day in many newspapers all over the United States in the 1970s. These are ©1975 by The Los Angeles Times newspaper. The comic captions always began with ''LOVE IS...''. On each glass there are two of the comic strips. In the order pictured, left to right, they marked on the two sides as follows:
LOVE IS... THAT FIRST KISS IN THE MORNING.
LOVE IS... WATCHING THE SUN SINK INTO THE SEA.
LOVE IS... TELLING HIM HIS PAINT JOB IS MARCVELOUS WHEN IT ISN'T.
LOVE IS... HOLDING THE LADDER WHEN HE PAINTS THE CEILING.
LOVE IS... TICKLING HIS NOSE WITH A LONG PIECE OF GRASS.
LOVE IS... AN AUTUMN WALK THROUGH THE WOODS.
LOVE IS... TELLING HIM HOW MUCH HIS GOLF GAME HAS IMPROVED.
LOVE IS... LISTENING AGAIN HOW HE MADE THE HOLE IN ONE.
LOVE IS... MAKING MARRIAGE LAST 75 YEARS.
LOVE IS... TELLING HER SHE'S AS LOVELY AS THE DAY YOU WERE MARRIED.

The colorful glasses each measure about 6'' tall. They appear to be in mint condition as pictured.
