All four of these old postcards have a different diorama model of an exhibit for the New York Worlds Fair. These are miniature art models to show what the exhibit or pavilion will look like when completed. The dioramas on these post cards, in the order pictured, are as follows: SINCLAIR DINOLAND (oil & gas, dinosaur)
FORD MOTOR COMPANY PAVILION (Ford auto, automobile)
BELL SYSTEM PAVILION (telephone)
GENERAL MOTORS FUTURAMA BUILDING (GM auto, automobile) Each of these postcards have a short description on the back and an image of the Fair's Unisphere globe. The post cards each measure about 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. They appear to be in good unused condition as pictured. |
