1935 St. Joseph Parochial School 50th Anniversary Ribbon
Religion   Religious   Church   School   Celluloid   Ribbon   Medal
The picture shows this nicely made 1935 St. Joseph Parochial School 50th Anniversary Ribbon. At the top there is an old celluloid Pin Back button with four photographic images and gold background. The hanging ribbon is blue (not purple as pictured) and white with gold print. From the top it reads:

1885 - 1935
FATHER D. F. LEE
BISHOP J. J. BRADY
BISHOP J. J. NILAN
SAINT JOSEPH'S
PAROCHIAL
SCHOOL
50th
ANNIVERSARY
St. JOESEPH's
PAROCHIAL SCHOOL
SEPT. 7, 1935
AMESBURY, MASS.

The back of the celluloid button section has a paper insert that reads:

THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO.
NEWARK, N.J.
BUTTONS,
BADGES,
NOVELTIES,
AND SIGNS

It measures 4-1/2" long. The button section is in mint condition and the ribbon is excellent with a small wear spot and a pinhole.
