| The pictures show views of this Old Metal Art Deco Advertising Premium Kleenex Tissue Holder With Tissues. The metal case is made of aluminum. It is not dated but believed to be from the 1930s. It may have been a mail away premium or an in store promotional premium given away with packages of Kleenex tissues. The first picture shows the hinged cover. It is difficult to see on the scan but on the cover there is an engraved profile of a woman and some art deco looking lines. When lifted the word ''KLEENEX'' is at the bottom and an old Kleenex packet can be seen inside. The underside of the cover has a mirror like finish. The old packet inside is unused. It is printed in gold on white paper. Pictured on the back of the packet is a stylized woman holding a large bow and by her side is a greyhound dog. Inside the packet is some more advertising for Kleenex.The entire (closed) case measures 1-15/16'' x 3-3/8''. It is in very good condition with some wear as pictured. |
