1939 New York World's Fair Coin Bank Half Part
World's Fair   New York   Glass   Advertising   Coin   Bank   Souvenir   History   Historic
The picture shows two views of this 1939 New York World's Fair Coin Bank Half. It is a clear hollow dome shape with embossed design and lettering. This is only one half of a two part round glass coin bank. This is ONLY ONE PART of the bank. The other half would have the Trylon and Perisphere on it. The two pictures show a top and bottom view. The image looks like a planet and the trail of a rocketship. It is difficult to read from the pictures, it reads:

1939
NEW YORK WORLD'S FAIR

It measures 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition with a small chip on the bottom lip.
