The compact is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1970s. It appears to be made of copper coated plastic. It unscrews to reveal two compartments. The compact is empty of lip gloss. It pictures Lincoln and wheat stalks, and it is marked on the two sides as follows: IN GOD WE TRUST
