| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this Colorful Old Ball Canning Jar & Rubbers Advertising Sheet. The sheet is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s or 1930s. It pictures a lady canning what appears to be plums or peaches. She has a large yelloware bowl, canning jars, and a large pot on the stove. There are four different Mason jars pictured including: a round ''Ball Perfect Mason'', a square ''Ball Perfet Mason'', a round ''Ball Ideal'', and a square ''Ball Ideal''. There is much information on the front and back. There is an unused order form at the bottom for either a ''Ball Blue Book of Canning Recipes'' or a ''How To Use The Food You Can'' book. The back of the sheet gives instructions for home canning with Ball Fruit Jars. The sheet measures 6'' x 9-3/4''. It is in good condition with a discolored area on the back as pictured. There are three horizontal folds. |
