The picture shows this Old, Heavy, And Intricate Electric Cigar Or Cigarette Table Lighter. The picture shows the cover as well as the very detailed inside. The cover looks the same on the other side minus the button and vent holes. There are more lots of old lighters in my items right now. Please be sure to see them all! The "ELECTRONIC" table lighter in this lot was made in Germany by ROWENTA. It has an Art Deco design with a brass and enameled black cover. The black circle is a button to light the lighter. The bottom (not seen in the picture) has adjustments as well as a safety button to keep it off when set down. On the bottom there is also a handle to pull out the inside section. Included is an original battery that is very unusual. It is rectangular like a modern 9 volt battery but it has the contacts at different ends. It is a 22-1/2 Volt battery by MALLORY.

The inside has many intricate parts that I am not familiar with. I have never seen another lighter anything like this. There is some wording inside in German that reads:
BEI BATTERIEWECHSEL
AUF RICHTIGE POLUNG
ACHTEN

It is not dated but believed to be from the 1940's or 1950's. It measures 3-5/8" x 3-3/16" x 1-1/4". It is heavy for it's size and in excellent condition.
