The picture shows a view of this Colorful Old Mechanical Valentine Holiday Greeting Card. The year that this card was made is unknown but it is believed to be from the 1920s. Her head and the dog next to her move. The Valentine has a young rosy cheeked girl sitting on a rug with her puppy next to her reading an ''EXTRA VALENTINE SPECIAL'' newspaper. The cross word puzzle on the back reads ''Will You Be My Valentine''. On the bottom it is marked ''PRINTED IN GERMANY'' and ''TO MY VALENTINE''. On the back, lightly written in pencil, it is inscribed as follows:

From Kittie and Will
Thanks for the registration numbers.
How are you?
We are all O.K.

The Valentine card measures about 7'' x 7''. There is an easel section on the back so that the card can be displayed standing up. It is in good condition with a few small edge creases. The writing on the back could be easily erased if desired.
