| | | | The pictures below show larger views of this Rooster Bird Carpe Diem Seize The Day Paper Weight. The paperweight is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The maker is unknown but it was made in Great Britain. This appears to be made to simulate scrimshaw. The material it is made from is unknown. It was probably molded. The paper weight has a rooster on top and a vine with leaves around the side. It reads: ''CARPE DIEM'' and ''SEIZE THE DAY''. On the bottom there is black velvet to protect surfaces and a gold foil sticker that reads ''MADE IN GT BRITAIN''. The paperweight measures about 2-3/4'' x 1-1/4''. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
