This item is already sold(2) Different 1800s Rememberance or Death Cards
Rememberance   Funeral   Death   Memorial   Card
The picture shows a view of the (2) Different 1800s Rememberance or Death Cards in this lot. These two cards were found together in an 1800s cabinet photograph album. They are from two women who bear the same last name. The left one is from 1889 and the right one is from 1893. They are similar in design. Each has a Holy Bible, a dove, a poem, branches and flowers. Each is printed in gold on a black card. The names and dates are as follows:

ADNA GARLAND,
DIED JUNE 7th, 1889.
AGED 80 YEARS, 6 MONTHS, 9 DAYS.

NANCY GARLAND,
DIED SEPT 16th, 1893.

The back of the second card is blank. The back of the first (older) card is marked as follows:

COPYRIGHTED.
MEMORIAL CARD CO.
NO. 706 CHESTNUT STREET,
PHILADELPHIA, PA.

The cards each measure about 4-1/4'' x 6-1/2''. They are in excellent condition as pictured.
