The card is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. The front has a detailed image of a young lady looking over a fence and holding a Vegetine bottle. There is a tree with flower blossoms in the background. The front advertising reads as follows: VEGETINE
THE GREAT BLOOD PURIFIER The back has more advertising about the product. Apparently the card had been trimmed, probably to fit in an album. The trade card measures about 3-1/8'' x 4-1/2''. The front appears to be in excellent condition and the back has some age discoloration or spotting as pictured. |
