| | | | The picture shows a view of all (7) 1934 - 1950 American Legion Auxiliary Membership Cards in this lot. All of these are dated, neatly filled in, and signed. Included are cards from: 1934, 1935, 1939, 1940, 1943, 1949, and 1950. Two of these still have a stub attached. Five of these had belonged to the same woman who was also the Unit President on the first two cards. The other two cards, 1949 and 1950 have the same last name and may have been her sister or daughter. These are all from the Sullivan - Nowell unit No.#38 Department of Maine. The backs of these each have the Preamble to the Constitution. To judge the sizes the first card measures about 4-1/8'' x 2-1/2''. They appear to be in excellent or better condition as pictured. |
