| | | The picture shows a view of this Colorful 1936 Dixieland Log Cabin & Black Family Post Card. This postcard has three different March 4, 1936 postmarks. It was mailed from Smyrna, Florida to a St. Augustine, Florida address, but then forwarded on the same day to a Gloucester, Massachusetts address. It has a green one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp and a neatly written message on the back. The post card pictures an old log cabin home with a black family including a Mother, a Father, six children, and a dog. There is also a chicken on the right. It is marked on the two sides as follows: 182 SEVEN UP IN DIXIELAND 63650 ASHVILLE POST CARD CO., ASHVILLE, N.C. C. T. AMERICAN ART COLORED The postcard measures 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. It appears to be in excellent used condition as pictured. |
