| | | | The picture shows outside and inside views of this Old Eagle Photo Locket Pendant Charm with Stones & Woman Photograph. The locket is not dated but it is old. The locket came directly from an antique jewelry box of an elderly woman. The only marking is under the photo and it is scratched ''X16'' in the metal. The locket has not been tested. It may be gold, gold filled or gold plated, we do not know. There are (7) faceted stones mounted around the eagle. The eighth one (at the 7:00 position) is missing. Again, these have not been tested but they could be diamonds. There is a raised eagle on the outside. It is holding three arrows and a branch. On the inside both round frames, both clear coverings, and both backing papers are present. The black & white photo inside is of a woman and her cheeks are lightly tinted pink. There is a charm loop at the top and an old link loop as well. The closed locket measures about 1-1/16'' wide. It weighs .32 ounces or 9.2 grams. It appears to be a quality locket and in excellent condition as pictured with the one missing stone mentioned above. |
