| | | | The pictures show a front and back view of the (2) Old Painted Die Cut Sheet Metal Cultural Man & Woman In Costume Figures in this lot. These painted metal figures are not dated but they are old. They are not marked and the maker is unknown. Our best guess is that these are from an Eastern European country such as Hungary, Bulgaria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, or maybe even Italy. We do not know for sure. They may be Gypsies. You will have to be the judge. Each of them is wearing a native cultural attire or costume. They are painted in green, red, brown, tan, black, and white. The backs are painted black. Each of these have a folded over metal slot section on the bottom of the back side to attach it to something. The flat figures each measure 7-3/8'' tall. They appear to be in fair condition with wear on the two sides as pictured. |
