| | | | The pictures show several views of this Old Pair of Carved Mother of Pearl Shell Screw Back Fish Earrings. These fish earrings are not dated and the year that they were made is unknown. They are not marked and the carver or maker is unknown as well. They could be salt water or fresh water fish. Like most mother of pearl items, they have much more color in the light then can be seen in the pictures below. Attached to the back are silver colored metal screw backs, but these could be easily changed to pierced earring fittings by any jeweler or craftsman. The fish measure about 1-1/4'' long. They appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
