| | | The picture shows a view of all (8) 1897 Hampton Academy School Portrait Cabinet Photographs in this lot. These old photographs were found in an album in the order pictured. They were all taken by Photograher E. C. Nickerson of Portsmouth, N.H. and are marked as such. Most of them have a written year (1897) and a written name. There are a few of the same person. The ''H.A.'' on some stands for Hampton Academy and the ''H.H.S.'' is believed to be for Hampton High School. They are marked as follows: Class of 1897 Hampton Academy Edward Jacob Brown 1897 Arthur L. Young H.A. 1897 Winfield M. Hobbs H.A. Annie Marilla Page 1897 Etta C. Blake 1897 Etta Blake H.A. + H.H.S. Edna L. Gill 1897 Ednah Gill H.A. The photographs are mounted on matt board cards. They each measure 4-1/4'' x 6-1/2''. Aside from the writing these, they appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
