| | | | The picture shows a view of both sides of this Old Kirkman's Borax Soap Advertising Premium Swivel Jewelry Pendant Charm. This charm is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s or early 1900s. It is believed to be a rare advertising premium or a dealer incentive gift. We have not seen these offered for sale before. The charm is made of imprinted celluloid and brass. It swivels on the brass holder section. One side has an imprinted cameo image of a woman with a garland of flowers in her hair. It has a black background. The other side has a colorful image of an early package or box of Kirkman's Borax Soap. It is marked as follows: KIRKMAN'S BORAX SOAP
SAVE THE WRAPPERS The soap wrappers would have been saved for premiums that you would mail for. The pendant measures 1'' wide. It is in near mint condition as pictured. The brass has a nice aged patina but could be polished buy the buyer if desired. |
