It could have been purchased as a souvenir in a gift shop or may have been won as a prize at one of the many arcades or boardwalk games at Point Pleasant Beach. The cup has a black imprint on a yellow background. The inside is white. There are three images on the cup. One is of a young man and woman swimming in the ocean. One is of the State of New Jersey with swimmers, a beach umbrella, and a sailboat. The third is of a sailboat. It is marked on the side as follows: POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. The coffee cup measures 3-1/4'' tall. It appears to be in mint unused condition as pictured. |
