| | | | The picture shows a front and back view of this Colorful Painted Old Celluloid Monkey Head Tape Measure. It is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1930s. The back of the head is marked ''MADE IN JAPAN''. The monkey's toungue is felt and it is the end of the cloth tape measure. It has a 36'' tape inside the head that works perfectly. It is unknown if this head was was on a body or not. It may have has a feather in the tiny hole on top of his hat at one time but it is not there now. It measures 2'' tall and appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. There is a tiny crack in the celluloid on the upper lip and a small tear in the cloth tape at the 1-7/8'' mark. |
