The pictures show views of all (6) Different Large Old Boston Area Photograph Prints From Glass Slides in this lot. These are not dated but they are old. They appear to be detailed images from old glass slides or negatives that were enlarged and printed on this heavy old photo paper. Each of these prints measure 11'' x 14''. These were all found together. We do not know their exact locations, but with some research, perhaps they can be identified. Some clues lead us to believe that they are all from the same town next to Boston, Massachusetts. They did come from an eastern Massachusetts estate. If you have any idea, please let us know.

The first photo is of a company of U.S. Army Civil War Union Soldiers in uniform on a dirt street in front of some town buildings. The Soldier on the left has a drum. There are a few signs. We can read one and partial on another. One on the center building reads: ''William Wyman High Street Market'' and one to the right of it under the tree reads: ''?????? Fish Market Oyster ??????????''.

The second photograph is of a large wooden (clipper ?) sailing ship being built. To judge the size, the small dots on top of the ship are people. This photo may be from Medford, Massachusetts.

The third photograph is of some large homes on a wide residential dirt street. Many of the window shutters are closed.

The fourth photograph is another dirt street in town with a mix of some residences and some businesses. One sign in the window of the building on the right reads ''OYSTER HOUSE''. On the left is a street corner lamp post. It has a sign that looks like it reads ''BOSTON 5 MILES''. At the bottom right there appear to be a set of train tracks.

The fifth photograph is of a large town building or church on a dirt street with a group of people or a family in front of it. The shutters on the large windows are closed.

The sixth and final photograph is of another large building believed to be a church, again on a dirt street. There are two boys in front of it to the right. The lamp post on the left has a ''RALLY'' poster on it. The shutters on these large windows are also closed.

The backs of the photos are blank. The photographs each measures 14'' x 11''. The original glass slides or negatives have some damage, but these photos appear to be in mint as made condition as pictured.
