Both of these postcards are ©1906 by American Journal Examiner. They are also marked on the back that they are ''Compliments of Boston Sunday American''. The firs postcard pictures a refugee camp and the second one pictures Firemen digging in building rubble searching for victims of the disaster. The captions on these post cards read as follows: EARTHQUAKE REFUGEES IN JEFFERSON SQUARE
SEARCHING FOR VICTIMS The post cards each measure about 5-5/8'' x 3-3/8''. They appear to be in excellent unused condition as pictured. |
