The picture shows a view of this 1954 Kellogg's Cereal Premium Baking Powder U.S. Navy Frogman Toy. This is the ''Obstacles Scout'' in red plastic from the larger set that you had to mail away for in 1954 and 1955. The smaller version you got from inside the cereal box. The larger set is harder to find and far fewer of them were produced. The complete set had an Obstacles Scout, Demolitions Expert, & a Torch Man. This one has its original metal cap on the bottom. The caps are often missing on these. With the aid of baking powder, these toys would sink and surface in water with action as if they were working on a Navy mission. They measure about 3-3/8'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured.
