| The pictures below show larger views of this 1916 Angelus Marshmallows Cracker Jack Advertising Premium Mystery Book. Shown are the front and back covers, an advertising page, and the title page. The booklet has (52) pages with birthday horoscopes, palm reading information, wedding anniversary, birthstones and flowers, dream interpretations, names & their meanings, marshmallow recipes, advertising, and a factory building picture on the back. The booklet was put out by the Rueckheim Bros. & Eckstein, the makers of Cracker Jack, Angelus Marshmallows, and at the time many different candy products. The front cover has a colorful image of a a wizard or sorcerer with children, a night sky full of stars, and a telescope. The back cover has a factory building image and there is interesting information about the factory building inside. On one of the advertising pages an early Angelus Marshmallow box is pictured. The booklet measure about 2-3/4" x 5". The booklet has some wear, and some age discoloration as pictured. |
