The pictures below show larger views of all (28) Small Old N.A.S.A. Apollo Space & Moon Mission Advertising Souvenir Items in this lot. The first picture shows all of the items, and the second and third pictures show a little closer view of them. This is an accumulated lot that came from many different sources. The first and largest item in this lot (upper right) is a 1971 card from the U.S. Postal Service. It features (2) 8c postage stamps from the Apollo 15 mission, The cover has the two stamps and the real stamps are applied inside on a first day of issue on a printed cover inside. It also has :A Decade In Spae” story inside from Winton M. Blount Postmaster General. Next is a 3-D Collector Series post card that features Buzz Aldrin’s walk on the Moon from Apollo 11. This Super Xograph 3D postcard has Buzz Aldrin, the Lunar Module, the Moon surface, and the planet Earth in the background. The card is unused. There is a ©1970 Kenner Give A Show toy projector slide strip featuring (7) colorful cartoon or comic strip images from the Apollo 11 Moon flight in “First Man on The Moon”. All of the images have captions above them. There are (3) unused N.A.S.A. post cards from The Kennedy Space Center. One has a Saturn V rocket, one has the Lunar Module with Earth, and one has the Lunar Roving Vehicle with Astronauts. Next is an unused ©1997 Apollo Moon Watch 25th Anniversary advertising order form. There are (9) different used postage stamps. These have Apollo Moon landing images, and they are from different countries including Hungary (1), Liberia (2), Sharjah (1), and one other that may be just a small sticker. Next is a small oldnotebook or pad. The front cover has a July 21, 1969 New York Times newspaper with the “MEN WALK ON MOON” headline with images. The back has a 1970 (12) month calendar. Incside there are white pages with two that are used, one with addresses, and one with a short grocery list. There are (3) different unused cloth patches. One has an eagle landing on the Moon with the Earth in the background. It reads: APOLLO 11 Another has what appears to be rocket parts docking or separating in Space with the Sun Above and the Earth below. It reads: STAFFORD – BRAND – SLAYTON - ?????????????? APOLLO / COI-03 The third one is shield shaped and it has an Apollo Command Module orbiting the Moon. It reads: KENNEDY SPACE CENTER There is a colorful unused sticker or decal. It pictures an eagle landing on the Moon, the Lunar Module, and Earth in the background. It reads: 20th ANNIVERSARY 20 JULY 1969 – THE EAGLE HAS LANDED NASA / GRUMMAN LUNAR MODULE MOON LANDING The final (7) items in this lot are all ©1995 Hardee’s Restaurant Food Systems Apollo 13 pog game pieces. One is blue aluminum with the Moon on the two sides, and the others are cardboard with different scenes and numbers. These are marked as follows: #5 – A13 #6 – A13 ODYSSEY DOCKS LEM #11 – A13 A VIEW HOME #16 – A13 LUNAR MODULE #18 – SPLASH DOWN #19 – A13 O.K. HOUSTON! All twenty-eight of these Apollo Space items for one price! To judge the sizes the closed card in the upper left measures about 839;39; x 5-1/439;39;. These items appear to range from excellent to mint unused condition as pictured. |
