The picture below shows a larger view of this Early 1900s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Pretty Lady Celluloid Toy Prize Pin Back Button. These colorful celluloid pin back buttons were some of the earliest prizes that were put into Cracker Jack boxes. There were at least (25) different ones that were produced. Interestingly, these pins were also used at the same time by tobacco companies as premiums. One difference is the size and the other was the paper insert in the back. This Cracker Jack prize was found without the paper insert in the back. The paper insert on these Cracker Jack pin back buttons would read as follows:

CRACKER JACK
5c
CANDIED POPCORN
&
ROASTED PEANUTS

This one is marked on the edge as follows:

©1905 by the Whitehead & Hoag Co.

The pinback button measures 1-1/4" wide. It appears to be in excellent condition with a missing paper insert in the back. It also has a lightly bumpy surface.
