The pictures below show larger front and back views of this 1950s Child's Two Piece Outfit Made of Rare Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Cloth Material. Also shown (FOR REFERENCE ONLY) are two images of this Rare Unused 1950s Vintage Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Advertising Cloth Material. We happen to have a small limited quantity of this rare 1950s imprinted cloth. We were very fortunate to acquire this cloth many years ago, and the child's outfit being offered here is the only item that we have ever seen made from it. The cloth is believed to be made of cotton that is similar to a bed sheet. The new cloth has a brightly imprinted yellow background, but the outfit does not. Perhaps it is faded or it was bleached out. It has various images of boats made of Cracker Jack boxes with Sailor Jack, his dog Bingo, swimmers, water, clouds, and fish. The shirt once had a cloth tag but it is now gone. The shirt has a button front, a collar, and a pocket. It measures about 14'' wide x 17'' tall. The shorts have an elastic waist, inner shorts, and a button back pocket. They measure about 10'' at the waist x 10-1/2'' tall. The cute outfit is clean, bright, and appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. As stated above, the yellow background looks like it may have been bleached out. |
