There are two pictures showing a view of all (8) Old Bathroom Related Paper Items in this lot.

In the first picture the front and back is shown. It is an old photograph card of a baby going to the bathroom on a pot. This old photo was made by Gurney & Son of 5th Avenue, New York. The back has a crest. There is obvious wear, two creases, and writing on the front and back. The writing on both sides reads as follows:

WHO PUT ME ON THE COLD
COLD POT, WHETHER I
WOULD OR NOT?
MY MOTHER

Next there are (4) related cards. These look like post cards but the backs are blank. Two are in color and two are black & white. The colored ones are in French and English and appear to be more finished. The black & white two almost appear to be like sketched drawings, much less defined. The first one is of a toddler child sitting on a pot looking at pictures or a magazine. It is marked as follows:

"BUSINESS IS BUSINESS"
Les affaires sout les affaires
MADE IN U.S.A. B-232
©1931 Camilla Lucas, NYC

The next one has an image of a young girl with a doll and a young boy urineating on a tree with his scooter parked. It is marked as follows:

"HOW PRACTICAL!..."
Ce que c'est pratique! MADE IN U.S.A. B-234
©1928 Camilla Lucas, NYC

The next two are identical and have a more unfinished look of the card above. These each have a number 42 in the lower left and a black cat in the lower right. They are marked as follows:

SHE, "NOW ISN'T THAT PRACTICAL"

Next is an old postcard. It has a colorful image of a young woman and man walking to an outhouse by a lake. It is entitled

"FIRST NIGHT IN THE COUNTRY"

It was published by the Stroudsburg Glass Company of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. It has a short message, a one cent Washington postage stamp, a 1948 Delaware Water Gap postmark, and it is addressed to a Norwich, Connecticut address.

Next is another old postcard. It has a cartoon character boy droping a Castor Oil bottle and running for an outhouse. It is signed WALT MUNSON. It has a short message, a one cent Defense postage stamp, a 1941 Groton Long Point, Ct. postmark, and it is addressed to a Norwich, Connecticut address. The front of the card reads as follows:

EVERYTHING OIL RIGHT
SO FAR ---
S'CUSE MY HURRY
YOU'LL HEAR FROM ME SOON

The last item in this lot is an old unused Birthday greeting card by HOLLY - LAFFS. It has an out house on the front and an out house character on the back. The front and inside read as follows:

SOME COME HERE
TO SIT & THINK ---
BUT I COME HERE TO
WISH YOU A HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

To judge the sizes the first postcard measures 5-3/8" x 3-1/2". The old photograph is not to scale with the others. It measures about 2-1/2" x 4-1/4". These items vary from good to mint condition as pictured.
