The picture shows a view of all (47) Old State of Oregon Advertising & Souvenir Items in this lot. The second picture shows a closer view of the smallest item in this lot, a tiny 1955 souvenir seashell. This is an old large bulk lot that has been acquired or accumulated over time from many different sources. There are far too many items in this lot to describe each one individually, but some highlights of the items included here are as follows: There is a 1970s ''OREGON - COOL, GREEN VACATIONLAND'' booklet with its mailer envelope. The booklet is filled with great images around Oregon and some information. It came from The Oregon Department of Transportation. Inside is a note from Governor Bob Straub. There is a 1974 ''KEEP OREGON GREEN'' paper restaurant placemat. It has a map and a lot of interesting small details on it. There is an old picture and a description of Mount Hood from The Standard Oil Company of California. It was saved in a scrap book and has some old paste on the back of the description sheet. Next there are (6) old tourist souvenir photograph slides. One is a ''MESTON'S TRAVELS'' slide of the Astoria column monument in Oregon. There is also a ''MESTON'S TRAVELS'' advertising description sheet for The Columbia River Highway. The other (5) photo slides are Pana-Vue souvenir slides from Skyline Caverns. Other smaller items that are included are: a ''CRATER LAKE - OREGON'' embroidered souvenir cloth patch, an ''OREGON'' pinback button with a rainbow, (2) different cardboard game pogs, an old unused match pack from ''MOGUL'S LE GOURMET'' restaurant of Portland, Oregon, and finally, a tiny sea shell that was saved as a souvenir (see picture #2). It is marked in pencil on the inside ''SOUVENIR OF SEASIDE OREGON 1955''. There are (7) different advertising brochures. Some of these have maps in addition to pictures and information. These include: 1940 Portland Oregon, with Portland map (with 6 nearby trips) 1940s Portland See It By Trolly (with trolley advertising) 1942 Visit The Oregon Coast 1942 Tourist and Shopping Guide of Portland (much advertising & map) 1976 Crater Lake National Park, Oregon 1976 Crater Lake National Park 1979 Oregon Events (first printing) There are (3) postcard folders with many colorful old images inside and (20) postcards.
