New York   World's Fair   Expo   Historic   Exhibit   Souvenir   Numismatic   Paper
The picture shows the (2) 1964 -1965 New York World's Fair Paper Souvenir Items in this lot. These are part of a collection that was acquired from one man who kept many scrap books and attended three different World's Fairs.

The two items here are both newspaper type publications. One is a Worlds Fair Supplement of NUMISMATIC NEWS. It has a nice article as well as coins, medals and more issued for this World's Fair as well as previous ones.

The second paper is entitled "WEEKLY INDIA NEWS". It contains a few articles on the World's Fair. One is titled: "INDIAN PAVILION PREPARES FOR SECOND SEASON". There are pictures including their Pavilion and the adjoining India Restaurant. Another short article is about literature relating to the influence of Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Roosevelt, Truman, General Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, and Hammarskjoeld all being placed in the Time Capsule.

To judge the sizes the Numismatic News paper measures a little smaller at 15-3/4" x 11". They are in very good condition.
