The picture shows views of this 1960's Vietnam U.S. Army Soldier Print & Poem On Black Velvet. Shown is the entire print and a closer view of the big eyes and face area. It has a young boy looking Soldier with a rifle by a barbed wire fence. Next to him is a wooden sign that reads "VIET NAM". In the background is another Soldier, Vietnamese, boats, an Army helicopter, bushes, trees, and an orange / red sky. This is a very nice print on black velvet material. I can not remember the Artist that created these big eyed images. There is a poem at the bottom that reads as follows: A Mother's love is like a rose hung on your chest. It reveals beauty and charm at it's best. My Mother's love is the world you see, For it means so very much to me. I'm so glad that God above, Gave to me such a Mother's Love. Your Son This most likely made the Soldier's Mother cry. It measures 12-3/8" x 17-3/8". It is in near mint condition. The image side is clean and the back is discolored from the paint and from being in a frame. |
